THE
FUHAHA
STORY
"Hi, I'm Caitlin. Founder of FUHAHA and fellow St.louis artist. Communicating with others through art is my favorite thing! I taught K-12 art in public schools for 10 years. In that time I organized numerous art and education events, tutored students in all subjects, mentored at-risk youth, actively participated in the Missouri Art Education Association, and led professional development teams within my school districts. I chose to leave the profession to find a way to connect with other artists, show them we are not alone, and share how art and the creative process can do more than offer beautiful images. Art is therapeutic; it can be scientific, academic, raw, simple - art can teach us how to be better listeners, problem solvers… I really believe art can do so many things to help us as humans!"

We aren't just a bunch of assholes.

ST. LOUIS BASED
COMMUNITY-CENTERED
ARTIST & ACTIVIST
FUHAHA is meant to start conversations about difficult things. It is meant to make the viewer re-think a situation, or laugh about a tough situation. FUHAHA art invites the viewer to participate in the artwork. We want people who never felt included in the art world to be included in a safe space that allows them to visually tell their story or viewpoint.
Art is more than pretty pictures on a wall, it is a process that has the power to connect people from different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. Welcome to the FUHAHA connected experience.
SOCIAL JUSTICE
FUHAHA is here to highlight social injustices with action and love. Our goal is to connect all humans through a shared creative experience.
TRASH IS OUR FRIEND
FUHAHA is here to
transform the shitty human experience with art + everyday found materials.
A COMMUNITY OF WEIRDOS
FUHAHA is an art community that starts conversations about difficult things. We help the viewer re-think or laugh about a tough situation.
